Really enjoyed this cruise, the staff are what makes it special, they are all so helpful and friendly, going above and beyond and always with a smile, giving us good advise and a few tips along the way, the restaurants are great and the cooking classes were enjoyable, the Tuscan restaurant was great, a cost for this but a fabulous choice of steaks, the qsine was an alternative restaurant, you have to think out of the box to enjoy this one. Quirky and fun.

The indoor pool was out of action a few times, due to a shattered window which was disappointing but could not be helped. Our room looked down on to a lower outside deck of the room below, so you don't look directly down to the water, not such a big issue but something to be aware of. Deck 7 towards the back of the ship, the ports in some stops were a bit away from towns so you could not walk. Some of the excursions we took could have been shorter as some of them dragged on a bit but still gave us a great opportunity to see and learn about the ports of call. The guides were knowledgable, some of the excursions said long pants and sleeves in churches, however we found that not to be the case, people we saw were fine with shorts and short sleeve tops, just no short short shorts, no strappy skimpy tops, common sense really needs to be used as you need to be respectful.

We did find that we missed being able to make yourself a cuppa in your room and also the fill a bag laundry like on other cruises we have been on, the laundry charges are not cheap or manageable for a family, it works out very expensive particularly on longer cruises. All in all we had a great time, met some lovely interesting people, went to interesting places and learnt more about the world.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 3

Cabin had everything you could ask for, the shower temperature did fluctuate a lot during a shower, the water is quite hard and it can effect your skin, we did miss not being able to make our own tea and coffee in our cabin. Otherwise very comfortable
