I choose this cruise because doing a transatlantic cruise has been something I have wanted to do for a long time and I paired it with 3 1/2 weeks in Italy. I went as a solo cruiser and planned this nearly a year ahead. Although I have done several cruises this was my first with Celebrity. I loved my Concierge cabin and its location right by the library and elevators. My stateroom attendants were eager to please and handled my requests easily.

I especially enjoyed the balcony with 2 nice reclining chairs and ottomans and a decent sized table.

The food in the main dining room was mostly very good but could be hit and miss and food in the buffet was mostly good. (Miss 4pm tea and scones!) The entertainment in the Reflection theatre was very hit and miss with way too many misses. Some was just not good and some was targeted for an audience 30 to 40 years younger then the clientele a transatlantic caters to. Lots of people walked out of many of the shows.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

I had a bad back and it didn't improve with the bed even though I thought it was a good bed. This is a cabin with a sofa that makes into a bed. Since I don't need that feature I would specifically look for a cabin with a regular sofa instead and hope it would accomodate my short legs and have better padding. This is at the end of the bump out so the balcony has a little extra room and is slanted on the ocean side making it an irregular rectangle, but it was nice to have even that little extra space.

There was enough space in ghe closet and bathroom. Shower was responsive. Not really enough room to shave your legs. I liked this cabin on deck 10 just steps from Library and elevators.
