Sail Date: Mar 2016

We thought we done a lot of research before choosing our cruise and travelling from Sydney Australia with my Adult sons and their partners to Houston Texas. Well were we wrong!!!!

Before I criticise this ship I would like to point out we have done over 20 cruises, mainly in Australia and Europe with RCCL & NCL, so what I have to say is only compared to what we have done in the past.

The ship on their website sounds and looks fantastic, we I can say its not like the Brochure, not even close. The ship is just old and worn. to be honest we are really at a loss to understand how people who have cruised before can rate this ship as being remotely good. There is just far too many rooms compared to public area and entertainment or things to do, there is very little to do on this ship, watch a movie!!!

Cabin Review

Cabin R409

Our suite was old and dated and very small for a suite,It was Clearly stated you had a Free mini bar, well not quite... The small print did say the first time, so all you got was 6 free sodas and 4 x 30mm mini nip bottles of spirits and 2 free beers. After this you had to pay up front to get you fridge stocked, For afternoon room canapés, you don't get any unless you filled out a form each afternoon, each day for the next days food... It was like we were on a ship that didn't have enough food and drink for its passengers. It was very sad and the to be honest you could see from the crew it was an unhappy ship, depressing & sad.

Port Reviews

Puerto Limon

The port was a bit scary, a lot of people haring you for money, I really don't know why the ship would dock in a place like this, he showed nothing other then beggars and poverty, we did not feel safe and you would not walk too far off the main roads.

Cozumel

We have been here before and its not too bad.
