Went on a 4 night cruise with 7 other couples. Been on RCCL 25 times prior and this ship twice. Embarkation took 10 minutes to get on the ship. Cabin was ready and was typical of RCCL. Balcony decent sized. Bed comfortable and AC worked. We were midship. Windjammer was ok each time and I ate a steady diet of their white meat chicken burgers. Breakfast and dinner was typical RCCL fare. Menus have not changed in years. Dining room service was decent and food ranged from horrible to decent. Entertainment was good as there were a few good comedians on board. Schooner's bar had a good piano player/singer. Casino nothing to,write home about. There was a tremendous amount of drinking on this ship, due in part of the drink packages. There were some fights on board late at night especially the last night. Amazing the amount of alcohol people can drink and RCCL does not limit the amount of drinks a person drinks each day. The rain all day on the second sea day did not help this cruise was kind of boring. The spa and fitness center was decent and most machines worked. Our massages were pretty good but $119 for 50 minutes. Cozumel was ok and the weather was decent as was the first day at sea. Overall just an average cruise for me. The last night really brought out the drunks who were loud in the hallways and the drumming up on deck 11 at 3 am was not fun to listen too!
Cabin was decent sized. Good closet space. Bathroom typical for a cruise ship. Bed comfortable. Fridge and flat screen tv in stateroom. Good sized balcony.
Embarked from our home city.
Been here a dozen times. Hung out downtown and walked around for a few hours. Every island has the same excursions. Be a tourist and go in the caves!
