We took a 10 Day Caribbean cruise on the Royal Princess out of Fort Lauderdale from March 13th through March 23rd 2016. From the moment we board the ship we were in awe and amazement of how beautiful she was on the inside. We were celebrating my husband's 40th birthday on this cruise & decided to go big by doing a 10 Day cruise. We were able to find our stateroom without any problems and loved every moment of our vacation. We were able to breeze right through the check-in process & board the Royal Princess within 10-15 of arriving at Port Everglades.

We loved having the 2 full Sea Days as it gave us time to explore the ship & learn where certain places were. The food was absolutely delicious and there was nothing we didn't like that was served either in the main dining room or the Horizon Café.

Out of all the ports of call Dominica was the only one that we weren't too impressed about. We loved everything about Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua & St. Thomas especially the convenience of the shopping. Even though we had to miss out on Princess Cays in the Bahamas due to a generator we still had a wonderful time. We would definitely do another cruise with Princess & on board the Royal Princess

Cabin BB

Our cabin was very nice & comfortable. Once we unpacked & put away all luggage we enjoyed the space whenever we were in our stateroom.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We flew in to Fort Lauderdale the night before we were to sail & stayed at a local hotel until it was time to go to the cruise port the next day.

Dominica

This port was ok would rather had gone to St. Kitts instead. If you didn't have an excursion planned there was nothing really to do unless you went back on the ship. The town near the port was very humble looking area. We didn't want to explore to far out as some areas didn't look to safe.

Barbados

Very beautiful area! We loved the walk from our ship to the shopping area & then walked out the gates to explore the town making sure we were back early enough to be onboard before sail away. Would loved to have been here longer.

St. Lucia

We ventured out on our own after doing some shopping. We had a driver take us to Rodney Bay Mall & then to Rodney Bay Beach where we sat on the beach enjoying the beautiful sunshine & swimming. Would love to go back to St. Lucia again!

Antigua

We were given two excursion tickets by a fellow passenger who was not able to go. We met the group beside the ship after going shopping in port & proceeded to the catamaran that took us out to an area around coral reef. Seeing all the beautiful fish & coral was amazing

St. Thomas

Loved the fact we got to stay later in ST. Thomas even though in meant missing Princess Cays in the Bahamas due to a bad generator. The island is beautiful the people are friendly & helpful. The shopping in the port was amazing with all the different shops to choose from.
