We love NCL and this was our 6th cruise. Two have been on the big ships, Getaway and Epic and four on smaller ships. My wife is not a fan of the big ships, but I wanted to try another one because of the activities on board. The itinerary was a bit bland, so this cruise was really about the ship. Check in was smooth once they started letting people on board, around 11:00 AM. We were just upgraded to a mini-suite and the biggest difference from our normal balcony is that the bathroom was large with plenty of room to maneuver. The shower was the highlight with lots of space and multiple jets. The TV is in front of the couch so it wasn't easy to watch from the bed. Our biggest complaint is that we had the smallest balcony we have ever had on an NCL ship, only 32 Sq. Ft. Just big enough for two chairs and a small table.

The ship is beautiful and it is big. It is easy to get around however and we were fortunate enough to be close to the stairs. There are lots of things to do, including a rock wall and a rope course along with water slides. There is only one adult pool, but it was still relatively easy to find a lounge chair nearby. The Waterfront is a great idea with two outdoor bars including Sugarcanes, the mojito bar. One of the bars was closed mid voyage due to an unfortunate incident, however.

Our biggest complaint with the ship itself is that our next door neighbors were constantly smoking on their balcony and in spite of multiple calls to guest services, never was ever done. They would talk to them, but they would deny and keep on smoking. We like to sleep with the balcony door open and this made it next to impossible to do.
