We ( my sister and I) were on the Norwegian Star Jan 31 to Feb 7.

The size of the ship was perfect. She is in beautiful shape. A little wear and tear but when I looked at her wall of plaques it made me smile and have a little more respect for her.

Right from the embarkation to debarkation 7 days later,we both enjoyed the whole vacation. We disconnected from the world and took the experiences of the ship, salt air, sunshine and ports and decompressed. I look at cruising from a slightly different perspective, I worked on cruise ships in the 90's in the cruise staff dept beginning as a cruise staff, to assistant cruise director to cruise director. I started cruising as a passenger a few years ago and get to relive my former life each cruise. I see how the staff and crew do their utmost to make each guest really enjoy their time, and when the cruise ends prepare themselves mentally to begin the process again.
