This was our 3rd cruise w/ NCL, and our first w/ our children. We also traveled w/ extended family members who had previously experienced cruising.

The Getaway is a stunning ship! It offers activities and options for every age group...from the insane ropes course, to wall climbing, to water slides. The dining options are really incredible...the quality of the food at the Garden Cafe is remarkable, the specialty restaurants provide a level of service that is truly special, and the variety of dining options is second to none! Our group of 8 continually remarked at how amazing the food was...it was truly a highlight!

I'd suggest doing your homework before any going on any cruise...understand whats included, research your ports, look at the entertainment options, and then make your plan. Do this and you won't be surprised by the cost or being told you can't attend a venue. Read more
