Ship is large with lots of passengers. That said, for the price, it was well worth it. We had a nice size mini-suite with tub and balcony. Also had all liquor included. Could not get that on any other ship for same price.
Ports were excellent. We started in Rome. You can also board in Barcelona which is where 75% of passengers start their cruise, so getting on board was a breeze. We stayed a few nights in a hotel in Rome, took a car service to the port and got on board practically as soon as we arrived.
We also had no trouble delays getting on and off at each port, despite the size of the boat.
First time we had a bath tub in our cabin. Room is excellent.
This was our one mistake. We turned down the share van for I think $50. We took the cruise bus to the train station and had to wait an hour for it to arrive. Plus the trip home was worse. Hard to figure out which track the train was on and which train is yours. We wound up on a local train that took an extra 30-45 minutes. When you only have one day in Florence, time is important, and we only saved about $20.
