This ship has been on our bucket list to do for awhile. This 225,000 ton ship has plenty of room on it, we never felt crowded as some reviews might suggest in the public spaces. Clean boat and well dressed. The process to get on the ship was handle quickly. With 5,000 passengers boarding we spent less than an hour once arriving from the airport in getting on the ship. We travel with a couple who were first time cruises so we were hoping they might get the wow factor on Allure. I think they enjoy themselves. The taxi ride to Port Everglades about $17 for 4 of us.
Once on the ship we hit the Park Cafe for roast beef sandwiches and salads. Not very crowded either. The meal was tasted.
I liked the fact of Live Bands on board, this ship had some good singers and band players across the board. At least twice a Live Band played on deck 15. DJ was spinning in the Central Park area at least once that I know of and in the promodnade, the Borelos Latin Club was always playing. Standup Comedy shows all were funny. The others- Mamma Mia did not do anything for me , if you like singing and dancing than it might appear we left about 30 minutes into the show. Headliners was entertaining and it was singing by this one gentleman who kept things funny as he sung. Blue Planet , did not like this so well, to much New Age theme in it in my opinion special effects was good though. Oceanaria Show was excellent, very talented people.
Small cabin, excellent bed! slept each night very well. Shower so small.
