We cruise a lot. This was ho-ho-horrible! Our Christmas Cruised ruin when the Lido Deck Balcony room we booked flooded due to a broken pipe in the Floor which for 3 days we asked the Cabin Steward to report and have fixed. It was not until we had water 2 inches deep through MOST of our room did he call maintenance. We lost use of our room for 2 days while they ran blowers 24 hours to try and dry out the carpet. The hair dryer literally became a flame thrower burning my hair when it short circuited due to the flood in the floor we were unaware at that time we had. When I filed the "report" 11 months later we STILL had not received our future cruise minimal 20% off credit of a future cruise discount--and when pressed they cheated us by $88.00 and told us it would take 7-10 more business days to process in the lesser amount.
In all Carnival, acted in bad faith. We had cruised with them over 5 Christmases, paid for 5 passengers for 5 years, and had shore excursions through them at every port x 5 people. You would think our businesses might have mattered considering we ALWAYS paid the premium for holiday cruises. I am done with them. Royal Caribbean will be getting ALL of my future business from now on. Save your money and do not bother with the "no-fun" ship unless you like aggravation and irritation instead of having a good time.
Horse back riding in the Ocean. We had done it before, and it was very enjoyable
It was informative but the beggars and sales people were relentless chasing right to the bus. Would have liked to have Columbus's tomb but t was NOT on the tour.
Very Informative-it gave us a good overview of the island- we enjoyed the sea portion of the Land and Sea Package seeing the ship wreck was interesting
