As a seasoned cruiser, I persuaded my friend to go for a late break on the Epic. He hadn't cruised before and was initially reluctant to do anything but a land based holiday. My wife and I cruise a couple of times a year and I go on a couple of holidays on my own as well, but Steve had never cruised.
There was a great offer for single travellers on the Epic in their studio cabins and we settled on the all-inclusive offer that they were running.
What to add to other comments already posted? Well the first thing is that they really cater for the single traveller. Their single traveller lounge is a great idea and the entertainment guys try really hard to organise shows and meals for single travellers at their 6.00 pm get togethers. Most cruises have a pretty half hearted attempt at single traveller meetings that soon peter out, but over the whole week the single lounge was well attended and popular.
Studio cabin is small but ideal for single traveller. Wish default lighting wasn't red!
