We boarded the Norwegian Star in Tampa and were to leave port at 4pm but did not leave until 3am! We heard many stories but the end result was that we had very limited services. On our prolonged stay in Tampa, only one bar was open to serve 2,000 cruisers, a lot of us with the beverage package! One cruiser stood in line for 30 minutes to get a drink, we gave up! Pina Coladas are a staple for the Caribbean but not on this ship. Only the pool deck served them along with a number of other specialty drinks. I enjoy a dessert drink at night and could not get one at the show or two other lounges where you could sit back and listen to music.

The front desk also did not have their act together and I actually had a shore excursion staff member tell us that the shore excursion would leave without us if we were too late because we were waiting for wheel chair assistance to get my mother off the ship!
