This was our first river cruise, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We started with a pre-cruise stay in Prague at the Hilton-Prague (beautiful hotel). Pre-booked two city tours (a walking/boat/dinner tour and a food tour the next day). Both took us to different areas of this fascinating city. Then it was off to Passau, Germany and the Legend on the Danube River. Wonderful trip visiting fascinating cities, beautiful churches, countryside and historic sites. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and clued us in to the real Von Trapp family history in Salzburg. Wish we had more time to spend in many of the places. Thank goodness for a/c in the hotel and on the Legend, as Europe was experiencing a drought and heat wave. Delicious food, wonderful service, friendly staff and--best of all--we didn't have to pack and unpack for one whole week! How good is that!
