Wonderful in Every Respect

This was our first river cruise, and we were very pleased. The staff could not have been more pleasant and responsive..everyone was very friendly and helpful. The Cruise Director David Morgan, was very charming as well as conscientious. The food was outstanding...portions were not gigantic, which was good! The buffets were excellent for breakfast and lunch. The tours were interesting and well organized..and the ear pieces made sure you could hear the guides. The cabin, though small, was very well appointed with many places for storage, comfortable bedding, thick towels and upscale amenities. The entertainment at night was not the caliber of the big ships, but much more appropriate for this kind of cruise. And there were lectures about the ports visited, the locks, the boat itself, the Danube etc. We met many very nice people. All in all, a very positive experience!
