Cabin:  We had an Inside Family Stateroom which provided the minimum, yet sufficient, amount of space, even for three adult males.  I would suggest buying an over the door plastic shoe hanger device to store toiletries, sandals, and other small items that you want to access with ease and not overcrowd the limited counter space in the small but practical  bathroom.  The counter space in the inside cabins is enough for two; three is tight. 

The cabin was kept very clean and towels were provided daily.  Be sure to use to use the switches by the front door to ask housekeeping to clean your room or not to disturb. NCL's  housekeeping staff works hard and it shows.  My only suggestion would be that cabin attendants should meet guests on the first day.  I was unable to establish personal contact wth housekeeping until the 3rd day, and that was only after I asked nearby attendants to find my assigned room steward.  We appreciated the habit of providing fresh ice in the room twice a day.  The water in the bathrooms is drinkable meaning the is no need to pay the additional amount for the bottled water left in each room at $4.50 each bottle.

The shower was very good.  There is ample space for one person but not two.  The shower gel and shampoo are in dispensers on the shower wall; they work well.  There is no conditioner or body lotion; bring your own.  There is facial tissue in the bathroom; a nice touch.

Budget is located right when you get off the ship.  Include insurance just in case. Compact Car was excellent for four adults.

Lindquist Bay Beach or Smith Bay Beach. I found this beach much nicer and less crowded than Maegans Bay Beach.  If you rent a car in St. Thomas, do not miss this beach.  There is a $4 per person charge and $2 for the car; children are only $2.  This beach is a little past Maegens Bay Beach.  It is beautiful in terms of it being a secluded sandy beach with beautiful views of islands and hardly any houses or Hotels on the hills that surround the beach.  The water as clean with only some seaweed. On the day we went it was very calm and safe but I did see some signs ready to post indicating that sometimes this beach may be rough.  The beach was recently refreshed with new changing rooms, bathrooms, and well marked parking, even spaces reserved for handicapped persons.  It also has some wine free wooden picnic tables but no concessions for chairs or umbrellas.  It is a beach to picnic and enjoy the ocean.  Not sure how it is when the ocean is turbulent.

Maegans Bay Beach certainly is beautiful in terms of being surrounded by beautiful mountains and having calm, crystal clear waters.  It is also equipped with bathroom facilities as well as snack bars and concessions to rent lounge chairs and some sporting equipment.  The only downside is that as the most popular and easily accessible beach in St. Thomas, it is also the most crowded with cruise ship passengers and others.  Access to the beach is $4 for adults and an additional $2 per car.  If you prefer the quieter parts of Meagans Bay Beach I recommend walking either to the far right or far left away from the main crowds.  It is a beach worth visiting although I prefer Smith Bay Beach for clear calm water, new bathrooms and changing rooms, same low cost entry fee, natural beauty and hardly any cruise passengers.  Smith Bay Beach is also known as Lindquist Beach and is not far from Maegans Bay Beach. Driving from the Havensight cruise port to Smith Bay Beach is along one the mail well paved and well market roads that circle the island.  It is easy to find and access, as is Maegans Bay Beach.  I know others in the cruise visited Corki Bay Beach but they also said it was very crowded with cruise passengers.  Corki Bay Beach is right next to Smith Bay Beach.
 
Mountain Top is worth the visit only for the impressive view high above Maegans Bay.  The site itself is a massive souvenir warehouse which you must walk through before you reach the terrace with the great views.  I would recommend at least a brief stop because the views from Mountain Top are indeed breathtaking.

Cane Garden Bay: This is by far the most famous of Tortola's beaches. Cane Garden Bay is the closest beach to Road Town. Therefore, more tourist hit this beach than any other. This is especially true if a cruise ship has docked but don't worry as there is plenty of space.  We walked to the far left where we did not have to rent expensive lounge chairs and unbrellas and deal with crowds and loud children.  There is plenty of free informal parking everywhere.  The chair hawkers charge a steep $20 for two chairs with one umbrella for just a few hours.  We decided we did not need them as we were in the water most of the time.  By having a rental car, we were able to leave valuables inside the car.

Don't make a trip to Tortola without seeing this beach!  Bring your camera!  I also purchased and bought my own floaty which was great.  Bring sunscreen and a hat.  We brought iced water front he ship and brought a small plastic container with fruit to snack.  We returned to the ship at 2 PM for lunch.  

Obtained $42 price with insurance included.  Added $10 for AVIS insurance just in case.  Had an accident and combination of both policies covered everything.  Avis representative will meet you right outside cruise port gate and deliver your car.  You will return car to same location when you depart.  Cost was $42 plus the $10 AVIS insurance...get it! With 4 persons int he car, it will be cheaper than taxi/tour and will give you freedom.

Drove to beach and around Tortola.  Roads not as good as in St. Thomas.  Drive carefully.

Because of Hurricane in the environs this port was skipped.

Nassau

It is a beach worth visiting although I prefer Smith Bay Beach for clear calm water, new bathrooms and changing rooms, same low cost entry fee, natural beauty and hardly any cruise passengers.Maegans Bay Beach is also beautiful in terms of setting and crystal warm waters; only more crowded with cruise passengers who can access the beach from the ship by taxi for $8 each way.
