We sailed from Rome on 11 September 2015 on a 10 night cruise. This ship lived up to all we had previously read about it. We selected an inside stateroom on the Penthouse Deck (11) - 1594 - because having sailed previously on Princess Lines we like the quietness of inside cabins and they are darker in the morning if you want a lie in- cheaper also. Speaking with other passengers on board, not a lot of them sat on their verandahs very often or looked out their windows.
Our stateroom was spacious and well appointed, the bed was comfortable, bathroom a good size with a great shower that maintained a constant temperature (adjustable). Our stateroom attendants did an excellent job everyday- especially liked the bed turned down in the evening and chocolates left on the pillows.
We purchased Premium Non- Alcoholic Drink packages as we are not huge drinkers. We purchased wine separately for dinner and liked being able to have an unfinished bottle put away for the following evening. I think that if we were to sail on Celebrity in the future I would probably buy a Classic Alcohol Package and take fewer tours ashore so I could benefit better from the package.
