We arrived a day early and stayed in downtown Seattle. It is fun to go see the sights and Pikes Place Market. Bought the transfer from Westin hotel to port. That went very smoothly. Arrive at the time you have on your cruise documents. They turn you away if you come at 11 am and your papers say 11:30. We arrived at the correct time and went in very quickly. Ate lunch in the Tsar's restaurant. Service was good and meal was good too.

Overall the ship is in very good condition. We had a balcony room on deck 9 and were quite pleased. Bathroom was so much better than our last trip on Royal Caribbean it was not funny. We could see the glacier from our balcony so we were very pleased. It rained that day but we were covered so we sat outside and really enjoyed the scenery. Service was good and our room was kept quite clean.

Ate some meals in O'Sheehans and the food was good. Breakfast there was quiet and food was hot. Service at night was pretty slow. Fish and chips were good there and also the grilled salmon. We ate most evenings in Tsar's and food was very good. Service was also quite good. If you are in a hurry, don't go there. We liked the relaxed, slower pace at suppertime.

Ketchikan

We enjoyed shopping and walking about the town.

Stay in downtown Seattle if you can. It is fun to see the sight. Pike Place Market is a favorite of ours.
