I loved this trip, and Holland America is impressive.

Our verandah suite was quite roomy and had a ton of storage space. I’m not sure whether the stateroom description mentions a mini-refrigerator but there is a mini-bar that can be used in a pinch. Loved the bathtub! The bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Our cabin steward seemed to have a sixth sense regarding our needs and comings and goings – the room was always perfectly maintained no matter what our schedule might be. And he wasn’t the only one – every single ship staffer was pleasant, helpful and friendly; we felt very welcome and pampered. Well, except for maybe the spa staff, who were not-so-warm.
