Sail Date: Jun 2015

I planned a family (my parents, husband, and myself) trip to AK for June 2015. We just got back and overall the trip was great because we experienced so much of Alaska; however, the cruise was a disappointment.

My husbands favorite thing about cruising is the ice cream and every time we turned around the ice cream machine was broken with only one side working so there ended up always being a line or impossible to fix yourself an ice cream. Additionally, the strawberry never worked! My dad's favorite part about cruising is the food...the food on this ship during the lunch hours is awful! The extra food service areas around the pool is also awful! It is a poor excuse for food. Dinner was a different story thankfully...while the meat served is less than quality, overall dinner was great and the personal waitstaff was kind.

Entertainment on the Radiance was a disappointment. The RC Dancers looked like they forgot to practice. They were never in sync and the show story line was horrible as well as the costumes. The singers however did have nice voices but the dancers were a train wreck to watch. Thankfully the cruise ship brought in outside entertainment for a few nights so we got a break from the RC Dancers.
