Norwegian Star was a great ship and so much better than we expected. After being in dry dock and then having two weeks while the ship was being repaired after problems we boarded what was like a new ship ! Everything was like brand new, carpets, paint, mattresses, sheets, towels , restaurants, bars.....everything .

After a shaky start, as we were supposed to board in LA for the Panama Canal , we boarded in Miami on 27 th May.

Our cabin 5553 inside was a little small but had everything we needed and soon got used to the lack of floor space when we had our luggage unpacked and away. 30 days on board means you only unpack once and that was a great bonus.! There was lots of wardrobe and drawer space. The bathroom was really good , with a full size shower. Bed was very comfortable with good quality linen.

Small but good storage and we don't spend much time in cabin. Comfortable bed. Great bathroom .with good shower,

Cabin good for two, more than that a bit crowded
