Sorry if this review is rather long, but hopefully this will help fill in a few blanks that other reviewers tend to leave out. We are a British couple in our 30's / 40's. Having not cruised for over 5 years, we were really looking forward to trying a ship as big as the Allure.

AIRPORT AND EMBARKATION

A taxi from Barcelona airport to the cruise port is now fixed price at €39 which includes the baggage supplement(s). This is the ONLY taxi route in Barcelona that doesn't have to use the meter. The journey can take anywhere from 25 - 50 minutes depending on the traffic. However, for a Sunday embarkation, expect 30 minutes max. Return taxi from Barcelona city centre was €37 total on the meter, which included the €3.10 airport supplement and €1 per suitcase supplement.
