Sailed the Allure of the Seas transatlantic 12 night cruise from Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) to Barcelona. The trip was relaxing and the weather was beautiful. The crew on The Allure was a fun yet professional group. With long sea days, there was plenty of time to enjoy different ship venues and the individuals working in them. The staff in Rita's Cantina were wonderful and hosted a lively and entertaining fiesta one evening. Classes at the Cupcake Cupboard with Maricel and Lucy were fun as well as offering the opportunity to learn a new skill. Dining room staff and room steward were some of the best ever.
As diamond members, the lounges that were available from 5-8 PM were amazing. Appetizers and unlimited drinks were available the entire time. For anyone objecting to the offerings by Royal Caribbean, I'm not sure how much you can possibly drink if those hours, plus the 3 drinks available per diamond member per day at a variety of venues is not enough. The staff were prompt and professional. The lounges were a bit crowded for the first 45 minutes or so, but when the 6 PM dinner guests left, there was ample space available.
Embarkation and disembarkation were absolutely easy and efficient.
Nice cabin, well-located and well appointed. Adequate storage space amenities. Due to construction, there was an unusual amount of construction with some very annoying noises.
Lovely, small city to enjoy and explore. Malaga was very impressive. A beautiful port with lovely hidden gems. Would definitely visit again and stay lobas
