We had an amazing time on the Celebrity Summit touring the Southern Caribbean. We went to celebrate a wedding anniversary. This cruise exceeded our expectations. The highlight was definitely the food. We didn't do any of the specialty restaurants and were blown away by the quality of the food. This was our first time cruising with Celebrity but hopefully will not be our last if nothing else, for the food.

Another highlight was the locations. The Southern Caribbean is beautiful. The beaches were great. Crane Beach on Barbados was our favorite. We went on a bio-kayak excursion in Antigua that was also well worth the time.

The service and amenities on the ship were great. The solarium was particularly nice. I even enjoyed the library a couple of times (great place for a nap!). The cabin was nice as well. Even though we were in an inside stateroom there was plenty of room for the two of us.

Inside Stateroom 9

Cabin was certainly nice enough and exceeded our expectations.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

Highly recommend Meagan's Bay. Very calm and relaxing. Another beautiful beach. Again their was a taxi ride of about 20 minutes or perhaps a bit more but totally worth it. Plenty of shade for those like me and sun for those like my wife.

St. Lucia

Beautiful but smallish island. The Piton Mountains are neat to see. This could have been a good day to say on the boat while the rest where on an excursion. Again, not a bad place at all, but choose wisely your excursion.
