This was our first cruise with RC. We arrived at the port around 11am and got on the ship very quickly. The lines were quite short. When you check-in and get your Sea Pass card, you can ask them to punch a hole in it so you can hang it from a lanyard.

Our cabin was ready at 1pm and overlooked the Royal Promenade. It was nice, perfect size for 2 people. The hairdryer is in the top drawer of the vanity, not in the bathroom. It took us a while to find it. The closet is a very nice size and there were a lot of hangers. There is a retractable clothesline in the shower, so bring clothes pins if you want to hang bathing suits and other clothing to dry. Our luggage came around 7pm.

Most of the entertainment was good, we especially enjoyed the comedians. The ice show is extremely popular but we thought it was just ok and left early. The Quest and the Love and Marriage Show (both adult shows) were hilarious. The show "Once Upon a Time" was very good too. There were plenty of late-night activities offered. There were even "after parties" starting at 2am. It seemed like a lot of people partied late and slept in late on this cruise. I went to one movie and the theatre they have is very nice. I believe they showed 4 different movies throughout the week. I also went to the port information and shopping show, big waste of time. It was just a sales pitch to get you to shop at the stores RC recommends (i.e., gets money for). There was no general information about the ports, beaches, places to go, etc.
