Freedom was our first cruise, & it was great. The rooms are spotless. Ours even felt quite spacious for a cruise ship! Our stateroom attendant took great care in all the details - after we requested ice from room service on our first night, there was ice in our room every single night after the turn down service! Definitely get a room with a balcony - it is well worth it.

Meals were always good. The buffet was crowded in the mornings & at lunch - it was often difficult to find a table. But dinners were great & all of the wait staff were very attentive & friendly. In face, everyone working on the ship was friendly! They went out of their way to say "hello" or play with our young niece & nephew.

Our only complaint about the ship was the crowd. There were a LOT of people on there, & the pools were too small for that many guests. Every day at sea was a struggle to find available lounge chairs. We never did get to sit near the pool - people stake their claim on chairs early in the morning & seem to keep them all day.
