My husband and I were first time cruisers and we were on our honeymoon overall We had a relaxing time. We thought getting on the ship in New York was fast and we had no issues I think because we got there around 2pm most of the foot traffic was gone. We got on board went right to our inside cabin on the 5th floor and prepared for our safety drill. The only complaints that first day on was figuring out how to work our key cards we thought we would just slid them in and the door opens apparently some are sensitive and you have to hold it and then pull it out when it turns green. For some reason my card wouldn't work but my husbands would. Another issue was our tv first of all it was very small and the remote's batteries were dying we changed them and still had issues changing the channels with it. 3rd issue our beds were twins and they were suppose to be pushed together to make a queen bed we had to complain at least 6 times and make a trip to the reception desk before FINALLY it was fixed. After that first day we had an awesome time on the ship. I can honestly say we didn't eat one bad thing on the ship! We ate breakfast everyday at Raffles love their waffles and lunch(love their salads), Windows(great soups), The Garden and LeBistro(part of our honeymoon package). We went to the shows almost every night we saw the Broadway show, Magic show and the comedy show with Second City they are the best I have ever seen! The pool and hot tubs do fill up quick so get out early. We even got in the hot tub one night also. Your on vacation to relax so we didn't care if there were people in them or not if we could fit we went in and we made some new friends. One other thing beware of the arcade it had a lot of broken machines that kept taking our money. Excursions: Port Canaveral we stayed on the boat and went swimming because we live in Georgia so we aren't very far from FL. Bahamas we did the Atlantis beach break which was an absolute nightmare trying to get off the boat it was so packed we lost our group but eventually got on the ferry over to Atlantis. After a long boat ride we get to Atlantis and our tour guide took forever to get us to the beach and considering it takes 15 mins to walk from the ferry boat to Atlantis we were tired by the time we got there we were expecting for her to just take us to the beach hence why its called beach break lol. Despite this we had a great time at the beach and very much enjoyed it. Now getting back to the boat was a different there was no one to tell us how to get back we got lost and luckily found another couple who was also lost we made our way back to the ferry together. Freeport: We did the dolphin swim which was the best experience of my life the only complaint we had was the bus driver was late coming back to get us. We had to be back on the boat by 12:30 and he came and got us at 12 knowing it takes 30mins to get back to the cruise ship. He said he was told to be back there at 12 it made no sense we got back to the ship just in time.Leaving the cruise ship was fine no issues, the only problem we encounter was going to get our luggage we were light blue and they put a white tag over not only our tags but a few others so people were looking for their tags and couldn't tell if it was there unless you ripped the white tag off. But other then that we had a great honeymoon on NCL and will def do it again we can't wait for our next one.
