Absolutely awesome cruise even though we had some bad weather in Skagway.

Getting on the ship was a breeze. We were boarded by noon and ready to check out the ship. Everything looks new and is well kept. We had an great balcony room on the 8th deck, starboard side. It was just the right place to be on the day we were in Glacier Bay. The ship was parked so close to the glacier it felt like we could reach out and touch it from our room.

Don't miss the floatplane trips in Juneau and Ketchikan. They were awesome! We had some bad weather for the beginning days of our trip but when we arrived in Ketchikan it was clear and were were able to see the Misty Fjords really well from the floatplane. The weather cancelled our helicopter/dog sled excursion so we opted for the White Pass Railway in Skagway. That was a nice relaxing trip and it snowed most of the time we were on the train (3 hours).
