Sail Date: Mar 2004
Traveled with children

We were on the March 7, 2004 departure out of Galveston on the Rhapsody. We traveled with our two children (8) and (5).

Departure: Departing out of Galveston was surprisingly effortless (although the ship was full & the lines were a bit long) Note: if you book a suite you don't stand in line with the masses, you have your own "VIP check-in"

Our suite was in good condition & very spacious. Our cabin steward was very nice & attentive. Overall the ship is very pretty (but not as nice as the newer, larger RCCl ships) OK, now for the bad news....the food was very disappointing. In the main dining room, it was bland & lacked presentation. We ate breakfast in the Windjammer every morning. It was a typical buffet style...best thing was the fresh fruit & omelette station.
