Cabin: Outside Stateroom with Shower

This was our first P&O UK cruise travelling from the UK back to New Zealand. Previously we had cruised 6 times with Princess so we are not inexperienced at cruising.

Aurora is a lovely ship, well designed in terms of passenger space and you never got the feeling of being crowded.

Having recently undergone a major refit we were surprised to find that during two consecutive days of force 8 and one day of a force 9 wind that some cabins on level 4 and 5 plus Carmens entertainment area were flooded as water came in to these areas via poor sealant to their windows.

Outside Stateroom with Shower

Cabin LB

Our E127, outside cabin with a queen configuration was very good and frankly better than Princess cabins of a same standard. The making of a cup of tea or coffee in your cabin was a huge bonus! The cabin was well serviced and we have no problems at all in this area.E level is below the promenade deck. We found no excess noise and this deck level is very handy to most entertainment activities.
