This was a Chrstmas present from my best friend..neither of us had cruised before so thought a good idea. We departed from Southampton to Zeebrugge for the market in Brussels. This was the first cruise after the ship's refit so we were looking forward to it. Initially it seemed very organised..park car, photos taken then stand in a long queue to check in. Finally on-board armed with our map..found cabin easily and overall impressions very good. We ate in the Beach Hut the first night..my friend had pre ordered a wine package...which they had no record of, so bought extra wine. On taking this problem with the staff they kept going on about vouchers..which we didn't have, and were apologetic. The food there was very good. We found, plus a lot of other passengers found most of the public areas very cold...to the extent..at breakfast some people had coats on. Breakfast was plentiful but our impression of most of the staff was lack of interest. We had manicures in the Spa on the Friday..staff were courteous and couldn't be more helpful. Departing the ship at Zeebrugge took forever, everyone queing up the stairs...we waited about 30 mins. Two hour coach ride to Brussels...and not impressed with the market. The next night ate in Sindu we which was excellent and staff were very attentive. Entertainment wise we saw a mediocre comedian but an excellent group c as Lord Britones. Disembarkation back at Southampton was very speedy..the reverse of menstruation. Not too sure would want to spend a week on this ship.

Balcony Stateroom with Shower

Cabin JB

Nicely laid out, plenty of storage and tea, coffee etc. But the steward hadn't checked properly as two metal coat hangers were hanging from the ceiling lights and one bulb had blown. Also couldn't regulate the air conditioning so my friend slept in her hat the first night! And her coat over the duvet!
