Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

My wife and I are Platinum members and have enjoyed several cruises, but this was the best. We had a mini suite and my three adult children and their spouses had obstructed view balcony rooms on the 15th deck. The first thing we found was their view was not obstructed at all and their railing was glass and see thru just like the other balcony rooms. Our mini suite was very nice, but the balcony was small. We were near the front of the ship so the lack of a center stairs was not a problem for us, but I could see the problem if your room were in the middle portion of the ship. We use the stairs 90% of the time but I never had a problem with the elevators the times I did use them they were quick and never crowded, however this was always in the middle of the day not at peak times.

The food on this ship was just short of amazing. All eight of us enjoyed every meal we had, the horizon buffet was excellent for all three meals and the Crown grill was as nice as any restaurant you can find anywhere. I was concerned that we would have to wait for a table for eight as we had anytime dining , but to my surprise we had minimal wait times whether it was 2, 4, or all 8 of us. The head waiter was great at finding us a table and letting us know how long it would be, he never overpromised but always over delivered and did so with a refreshingly pleasant attitude. The wait staff were also very good at their jobs and gave us superb service every time. We learned that dinner in the main dining areas take a little longer to eat so we were able to plan around that so we could enjoy any show we wished to attend.

The shows on this cruise were all very good but Fiara was over the top good. The comedians were very good also, and we enjoyed the entertainment in the piazza while enjoying a glass of wine at our favorite bar vines. We also enjoyed many of the shows in Princess Live, in short there were more entertainment venues than we could see in one week. The ship itself is absolutely beautiful and we never felt crowded or rushed. We had some reservations when we first boarded, as this ship is different from the others in the Grand Class that we have sailed on, but by the end of the week we were sold on all the new extras that the other ships don't have more than disappointed by what was different.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin ME

Our room was beautiful and the bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom was much nicer than the previous balcony rooms we have had. The balcony was a little smaller than we like but acceptable.
