We sailed on the Christmas sailing of the Carnival Glory. We were (2) adults late forties and (2) teenagers 17 and 13. Embarkation was fast and efficient. No need to buy the faster to fun ad on. In general food was very good. Guy's burger is excellent. We did not try the buffet. The main dinning room is very good for breakfast. We had the your time dinning option. The first (2) nights we had a 30 minutes wait and after that there was no wait. Food was overall good, but service was slow. Waiters and staff were pleasant.
Organized activities for the kids were almost non existent. There were around 1K kids on board. Kids tend to hang out in the basketball court and in the clubs. Activities for the adults were limited too. We were able to get lounge chairs without a problem. Serenity desk and hot tubs were very good. Comedians were good too. Epic Rock show was very good. Movies at night in the lido deck was very nice too.
Overall I feel that Carnival delivered a good experience at an exceptional value. If organized activities for adults and kids are a must, then this is not a good choice for you. Another issue is the lack of healthy food choices on board. Also there are no group exercise classes on board.
