Myself, wife and grandson went on this cruise. This was our 15 cruise overall but our 4th on Carnival. This was our first 5 day, since all others have been 7 day cruises. Getting to Port Canaveral was easy. The staff at the port was excellent, well organized. They really made you feel special. We had requested first dinning (6pm) and were assigned a table for 10. We went to see the Maitre'd and requested a table for us 3. He said there was no problem and guaranteed us a table. Well that never happened and we got a small card in our room that there were no tables available. The Maitre'd never showed his face the rest of the cruise and we knew for a fact that others had been accommodated. Well we had no choice but to go to our assigned table for 10. Well the table had 11 persons and one of them was always in a wheel chair which made the table a bit tight when seating. But the blessing in disguise was that they all spoke Spanish and English plus they were from church's that we knew about. So the blessing was that we had a wonderful time. We got to meet wonderful persons that now we will keep in touch with. The service was quite slow and despite being always the first to arrive our group was always the last to leave since we ended up always being the last to be served. On the last night we found out that they were short staff members and that the kitchen was slow delivering. Well the excuse didn't fit when other tables this staff attended did not have that same problem.

But anyway, we had a great time. The food was A++, the entertainment was excellent. The Trivias were a great time to spend on seaday. Our grandson (15) spent time with the O2 club and he liked it a lot. Plenty of activities for his age group (15-17).

The Liberty is well organized and look almost identical to Carnival Valor which we have been on.

Cabin 4B

This cabin was close to the elevators, just below the dinning room Silver Olympian. We always walked up one flight of stairs. Well located and just back far enough to never hear noise of any kind. It was roomy, very clean and service was A++. From here take the elevator directly to floor 9 Lido Deck and your there. Excellent location.
