Since Rhapsody will be going elsewhere until further notice, I don't know how helpful this review will be to those interested in the Alaska itinerary, but here goes..

Seattle:

We elected to stay fly in the day before and stay the night after the cruise. We stayed at the Sleep Inn at Sea-Tac. I was feeling a little sorry that we didn't stay downtown near all of the sites, but now glad that we didn't. The price was right for Sleep Inn and we had all that we needed. It was clean and provided a shuttle and an adequate breakfast. The shuttle took us to Sharps Roast House for supper which was priced and only fair quality. I would opt to eat elsewhere if I were to do it again. We took a tour of Seattle after the cruise with "Let Tour Seattle". Our guide Dick was outstanding and has a fantastic knowledge of everything Seattle. We were picked up at the pier after doing self assist off the ship which was pretty easy as we packed as light as we could for an Alaskan cruise in August. After 6 hours he dropped us off at our hotel, and after a quick supper at the IHOP located across from the hotel we crashed for the night as we had an extremely early flight back in the morning.
