Really neat stop and neat town to walk through though the ship is only there from 6am to 1pm or so. Would recommend walking Creek Street and following the salmon stream trail. Some good seafood eateries right by the dock.

Ketchikan

Good - would love to have had more time - thought we'd be in a boat, but visitor's center via bus was fine and surrounding area with salmon stream was nice. Very informative bus ride.

Great - saw tons of humpbacks and other wildlife. Nice amount of time on water. Nice savings vs NCL prices.

OK - maybe just didn't live up to the hype I had heard prior. Would like to have been able to step off train and/or have food/drink options on the train. Scenery was unbeatable.

Great tour driver - neat little ride for family and kids.Not sure why only in Victoria for a few hours, and night, at that. Don't get it.

Very good - beds very comfortable - shower bigger and nicer than expected - toilet area a bit crowded for a full-grown human... Window was great. TV a bit small and with adjoining rooms, the connecting doors block the TV when open.

Cons:
The service, navigating the ship, the elevators, NCL excursion pricing, short time at ports, wi-fi charge.The scenery, nature, and overall surroundings of Alaska are the real attractions on this cruise, and the ship, as long as you have access to those sights and experiences, becomes less important as a result.
