this cruise was pretty bad!. let me tell you why.. there is at least 4,000 people on the ship and to make up for that there is only a small pool. It's smaller than the local YMCA pool which can fit like 100 people. They have hot tubs as well, but boy are they dirty. I only got a chance to sit in them on one day out of seven and that was the day we ported (and the ship was empty). Had a weird smell to it and it sure wasn't chlorine.

The spa is 200$ for a week pass and that was nice, but i felt like i only paid for it because i couldn't even access the pools or hot tubs out on the deck. The spa was nice for the first 4 days and then it seemed like nobody was keeping up with the hygiene of it. Towels were EVERYWHERE on the chairs, and no one knew if a chair was actually taken or just had a dirty towel on it. The water had floating stuff of who knows and really made me avoid the spa (which i paid for in full for a week) for the last few days. The ship seems to be built on purely to make money. You want SODA?EXTRA. You want alcohol? EXTRA. You want bottled water? EXTRA. You want to eat at the restaurants? EXTRA. If you go on this ship, please avoid the buffets. The meat of the day are always DRY except the day with prime rib which was pretty good. The chinese food is TERRIBLE and the american food is tolerable (Nothing to make you say WOW). I had the pleasure of eating at Teppynaki which was a blatant ripoff of benihanas, but it was great nonetheless. Also tried Le Bistro which was just mediocre for me.

The staff is very nice and welcoming depending on who you talk to. but over all they all seemed great. I feel bad for them because they have to work 8 months at a time, without seeing any family and just straight at sea. I've overheard so many people asking employees about their living conditions and they all seem to avoid answering. NCL also played their episode of undercover boss only about 20000 times while i was onboard, i guess it was to "improve" employee morale, but in that show you basically helped out 5 people. A good gesture nonetheless, but i think you just avoided that problem and it shows. I'm sorry if I'm all over the place, but i'm really just trying to give you a heads up of what to expect. The casino staff shows no loyalty and are very money hungry. 90% of the dealers i encountered were very nice and welcoming, but most of the managers are straight up nasty. The director loves to BASH on people. I saw a show hosted by the cruise line, she just kept repeatedly bashed a recently married couple by saying that they won't last a week. She bashed an old couple saying that nobody wants to see you naked. She bashed a couple that met on the train and kept calling the guy a "creep" and a "stalker". No one even laughed and what kind of director does this type of stuff? She is really fake in my opinion.

Cabin Review

Room was ok, but small for the price. Balcony had a good view, but occasionally hear noises.
