The wife and I have sailed twice on Princess 7 day cruises are Gold level Carnival passengers and this NCL experience was by far the best cruise ever. Arrived in Miami from an early flight from NJ. Took a taxi from the airport to the dock at the fixed rate of $24.00, ( not a bad deal ). Walked right into terminal B and in less than 20 minutes we were on the ship. Easiest embarkation ever, and that includes Carnival upgrade for gold level suite early embarkation.

The ship is a wonderful size, about 85,000 tons or so. Not too big and not too small. Not the easiest to navigate at all levels but not a real concern. Never seemed too crowded to maneuver around after shows and events. The decor is very nice and color scheme is soothing in muted hues.

Our mini-suite was smaller than on the other ships we've been on as was the bathroom, but the bed was comfortable, and the cabin was always clean and towels and glasses were always repenished, by our great steward Rouelle.
