We have cruised with Carnival more than 20/25 times and have had great experiences, however this past cruise on the Breeze was very disappointing. There were highlights, the food was good, the ship was clean, the staff friendly and our room steward, Agnes, was fantastic. However, the dining room staff in The Blush Dining Room early service, was terrible. They were slow and unfriendly. We have always in the past enjoyed getting to know our wait staff but our staff were not friendly and did not try to be friendly. They never spoke our names. Their service was slow and incorrect. We had dirty dishes sitting on the table when they gave us our dessert menus. Our dinner took 11/2 to 2 hours. We were traveling with 3 other couples all experienced cruisers. None of us had ever experienced this type of service. We spoke to the Matre Da on the service and the next night ,our service was much better but on rest of the cruise it was back to being poor.

The other problem on the ship was the entertaining. The shows in the theater were so loud and the skills of the performers so poor, we never stayed for the entire show. The comic shows were far too explicit and offensive. And the "marriage show" was offensive to the mainstream audience.

We usually leave the ship looking forward to our next cruise but the conscience of our group was that this might be our last Carnival cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabin was okay. No sofa. Room Steward, Agnes, was the best we have ever had.
