We went on the NCL Jade for the Mediterranean cruise out of Rome for 10 nights, including the ports of Olympia, Athens, Ephesus, Istanbul, Naples and back to Rome. The cruise itself was great, wonderful ports to visit. The Jade is a beautiful ship. It has the Hawaiian them décor, but it works. We had an aft balcony on Deck 10, and the room was great. Big balcony and plenty of room in the cabin. The bathroom is well laid out, and the shower is excellent. Plenty of hot water and very good water pressure. Our cabin steward, Armando, was a real gentleman and did an excellent job of keeping the cabin neat, and providing anything we needed.

The whole concept of the freestyle dining is great. Really appreciated that we could call the shots of when we ate, and where we ate. I had been on a previous cruise on another line and wasn't fond of the set seatings. The food in the main restaurants was, for the most part, very good to excellent. Enjoyed the Grand Pacific dining room. The specialty restaurants were excellent. Cagneys had great food and great service. Moderno was also excellent, and the Tepanyaki restaurant has great food and of course the show is fun. Really enjoyed the jazz brunch at Le Bistro.

I really have no complaints about any aspect of the cruise. NCL has a great staff, the ship is kept in excellent shape, and all of the amenities are there for one to take advantage of. Highly recommend cruising the Mediterranean on the NCL Jade.
