This was our first Holland America cruise. It was very good but we were left thinking that our previous cruises with Celebrity were just a little bit better overall.

Having read previous reviews on the Canada & New England cruise, I have little to add except to say that the ports of call are the definite highlight of this cruise. A few things I noted that might not be in previous reviews:

-embarkation really smooth at Quebec City, very little waiting

Cabin Review

This cabin is in a great location. Very close to elevator and 20 seconds down the stairs gets you to the main dining room. We spent a lot of time choosing a cabin that would have a really nice deck and this one is perfect! The deck is large and the view is ubobstructed. Gorgeous really. We had some concerns about the cabin being close to the elevators, but we never heard any noise at all. Cabin itself is mildly worn but still very comfortable. Bathroom has a tub which makes it seems more roomy than cabins with a shower stall.
