Sail Date: Oct 2013

We sailed on the Carnival Glory out of Norfolk 10/20/13 - 10/25/13. The weather was gorgeous on embarkation as well as in the Bahamas and debarkation too which is always nice!!

We previously cruised on The Glory in 2012 before the 2.0 upgrade. We were very impressed with the 2.0 upgrades. My husband Joe and our good friend Ed enjoyed Guys Burgers and the fires more than they "needed" too..........we all loved the burrito bar for breakfast and lunch. We thought the new type pizza was even better than on past cruises. Salads were delicious and plentiful and so was the fruit. The ship in general was spotless clean all the time. Tables were usually cleared off quickly on the Lido deck. Never really noticed tons of crowds or anything.

Staff was very, very pleasant and helpful. Cruise Director Matt and Assistant Emerson were truly the best cruise director and assistant we have ever experienced and we are very seasoned cruisers. They were amazing - we looked forward to seeing them - they were extremely visible all around the ship.

Cabin Review

Cabin steward IGusti was wonderful. The cabin was clean, had plenty of storage and smelled nice too. The refrigerator seemed colder than normal which was great and our air conditioning worked very well too!!! No noise except the normal hallway noise. Great cabin!
