We just returned home from a wonderful cruise!! I used this site a lot when planning our cruise so I wanted to send a review. The Glory was beautiful! A grand ship. We selected this ship because of the itinerary. The western Caribbean is so beautiful especially Costa Maya. On the ship there is so much to do activities for anyone no matter what you prefer there are different types of live music all around the ship. Games galore. Spa & salon are awesome - Amy in the salon was very knowledgeable about my hair & skin and did a great job with my hair. The room steward was very attentive to our request (even tied my husband's ties) Make sure you eat in the dining room the food is excellent & the service great. We met some wonderful people and had good conversations about the day's activities. Open seating breakfast in the dining room is delicious. We did this the mornings at sea. Cozumel is good for shopping. We didn't do a tour here just shopped. Costa Maya- the water was beautiful- We booked a tour thru costa-maya-tours.com and had an excellent experience. When we got off the ship we followed the blue butterflies to the taxis and we were taken to the Tequila Beach club( nice place to eat outside , lockers for your things and clean restrooms) We met Otto our tour agent - He introduced us to Reesa our tour guide of the Ranch ( horseback riding thru the jungle  it was so much fun she taught us a lot about Mayan people and their village) , then back to the club- Otto had arranged for me to go to the school and talk to the kids about dental health and give out toothbrushes. This was great- I had read some reviews about taking supplies to the kids but in later reviews they stated that the ships would not let you anymore. I had no problems taking 100 toothbrushes & stickers in a backpack off the ship. I think that if you wanted to help you could. Back to the TBC for snorkeling- the water was so clear and the fish were so abundant. The reef was damaged in last year hurricane but the good weather this year is helping it flourish again. This is an awesome snorkeling site the reef is only ½ mile from the dock. Perfect for beginners like us. The snorkeling guides were great we even got some great pictures & movies of our adventure on DVD. I would highly recommend this tour. In Belize we booked a tour with Carnival- this is a tendered port and Carnival tours exit first. The tour was great- River Wallace & Altan Ha ruins. It is 6 ½ tour. The river was abundant with plants, trees and wildlife, the village stop was fun I bought 2 bottles of Belizean wine (free samples there) you can go thru customs with 1 bottle of Bel. Wine & one bottle of other liquor. The ruins were well worth the trip. The tour guide Joyce was so knowledgeable about Mayan culture and the area. She made is educational & fun. Recommend if you want to see excavated & unexcavated ruins and the area. Must on the ship: the game newlywed not so newlywed we laughed so hard; the chocolate buffet watch the capers because it is not announced; the legends show on the last night; the deck parties at night; the sushi bar and the karaoke club The ship has lots of places to relax and enjoy the views and music (large plush sofas and chairs along in the lobby and along the boulevard. If you want to communicate with the outside world (i.e., kids use the internet cafe or your own laptop around the ship) Thanks for other reviews - this was an awesome ship and itinerary.
