Wow! No more negative talk about Carnival....I was so pleased with our voyage!!! We took a red eye from Sacramento to Orlando, rented a car from Budget (AAA discount $29.50) dropped off in Pt. Canaveral, was shuttled (free) to port in minutes. We arrived at 9:30. Carnivals friendly staff directed us to to upstairs lounge and we waited until check in. 10:30 sharp we were checked in, in about 2 minutes, took our picture, and we were on the ship.
Up to the Lido deck for a hot buffet lunch. Our bags were delivered promptly. Our room steward was wonderful, towel animals and all, he even gave us lessons on how to make them! The beds were to die for!
The casino was a blast. We won , We lost, just like we always do.
