This cruise was for my niece's high school graduation. We got to the port of Long Beach around 12:30. We had our fun passes already filled out online. It went very smoothly. It's amazing to me the folks that don't fill out the pass. Oh well, it takes them just a little bit longer. We had 3 cabins all inside and on the Empress deck. We have cruised this itinerary before and do not spend much time in the room, so an inside was just fine.

Our room was ready for us and I had had my niece's room decorated with a celebratory theme through Carnival. It looked great. I have done this for past friends that have cruised Carnival on different itineraries. It's a lot of fun for the $35. bucks and Wow, the room was filled. Needless to say my niece was thrilled and felt pretty special, especially, when folks went by and looked into the room.

Our rooms were clean and since I bunked with my niece's mom, we had a twin set up. The beds are great. There is a true difference. One note, our 3rd cabin folks, their air was not up to par. The crew responded right away, got it going a bit more, but still not up to their standards. One thing this couple did say, is they got to know the tech pretty well, as he called them and came by a lot, trying to get more air for them. They did feel as Carnival was trying their best to fix the problem. Our other 2 cabins were fine.
