I went on this cruise with a girlfriend. We are in our late thirties and chose this cruise as a way to relax and see a little of the Caribbean.

I have cruised once before (about 12 years ago) but this was my friends first cruise.

We flew directly from Toronto, Ontario (Canada) to Houston on Sunday morning. We arrived in Houston about 1/2 hour ahead of schedule around noon. We claimed our baggage and found the Royal Caribbean representative inside the baggage claim area. It was a short wait to board the shuttle to Galveston. We found all Royal Caribbean staff helpful and informative as we were reminded to keep boarding documents and identification with us on the bus as we headed to port.
