My family (wife, 2 children aged 10 and 13) went on the Carnival Sensation on the 18th of May. We almost didn't book this cruise because of the terrible reviews on Cruise Critic, however after talking to a very nice young man at Carnival (Brad or Todd, I think) we decided to take a chance . He told us that all repairs had been completed and he assured us that this boat was back to normal.

Embarkation was a breeze. We arrived at 12:30 and were on the boat in less than an hour. The staff embarkation people were excellent. We were very very pleased when we walked on the cruise ship.

The room, Riviera 43 was very nice, with a large bed and two bunk beds. There was plenty of room for everyone, and we had a wonderful view of the ocean. I will admit, that there was a slight slight odor in the bathroom the entire trip, but we didn't even think it was bad enough to mention. It was not a big deal at all.
