Traveled with children

We sailed on the Liberty for Easter week with a group of 21 - 14 adults and 7 teenage children. In all we had 9 cabins on the Lido deck. We had all cruised before and were looking forward to a great week on a brand new ship.

We flew in the day before and stayed at the Hampton Inn in Ft. Lauderdale. We took shuttles from the hotel to the port around noon and were on the ship in about an hour and a half. The lines moved along - no complaints abut embarkation at all.

The ship was clean and well laid out. The balcony cabins were large and we were able to open the balcony doors to each other, but after a few days we had them put back together, because some of the cabin doors were actually blocked when the dividers were pegged open - not a very good design!
