Sail Date: Dec 2005

This was our first cruise on the Glory and I must tell you it is a very impressive ship.

Embarkation: We were in Cat. 11 and with that comes the Skipper Club, which pretty much takes you to the front of the line. It was a very short line getting thru security, we arrived about 11:45 a.m. Checked in and was on the ship in about 20 minutes, very smooth.

We got to know the ship prior to sailing, I think this helped a lot. This is one big ship and if you are not familiar with it you can wonder around sometimes. Sailing on Christmas Eve the ship was nicely decorated for the holidays. Food was very good in the Golden Dining Room, One night we had dinner in the "Emerald Club" Supper Club. While this was very nice and I do recommend everyone trying it once, The food was so good in the regular dining room I can't see why someone would pay the premium price more than once on a cruise.
