My wife and I sailed on the Brilliance on 27th October. As you will know by now the port in Barcelona was closed due to a blockade by local fishermen.

We knew nothing of this despite being in Barcelona for a whole day before.

On 27th we got a taxi to the port at 1pm. No ship berthed, why? There she was, out at sea with another 16 ships. It took 30mins to find out why. Being an independent traveller has its disadvantages, so at this point we called our daughter at home who brought us up to speed.
